New Office for a New Season
We are excited to announce our new office in American Fork and Brenda the new Office Administrator!! This season we are ready and more excited than ever to start our new season and get back to the basics of basement waterproofing and concrete lifting. This has been a crazy winter, and what will come with that is spring runoff, uncovering cracks and sinking sediment. Not to worry our experienced team can come fix that in no time, and have you back to your busy spring schedule, doing what you like to do best.

Foundaton Repair Job
Another house lifted. This home in Grantsville had sunken about 1 1/2" and needed to be lifted back into place before the homeowner could finish his basement. Because excavating on the outside of the home would cause unwanted damage to landscaping and utility lines we decided to lift the home from the interior. First the floor was cut out so we could attach the foundation brackets. Once the brackets were installed we used the pictured rams to push pipes into the ground until the home began to lift. It's always a little nerve racking to lift a home back into place. (lots of creeks, cracks, moans and groans) After the home was lifted the hydraulic rams where removed we patched the holes in the floor and the home was as good as new. Foundation repair is so amazing. Who lifts houses? Well, Interwest does.

Chase Bank Repo
We did an amazing project for Chase Bank. This home had a major problem in the laundry room / storage room. Located in the basement, with each rain, the storage room would fill with water. After a close evaluation we determined that water was entering the home between the footing and foundation. The only solution would be to excavate to the bottom of the footing and add a drainage system along with a sump pump. There was one problem though. Upon further inspection, it was discovered that the home did not have a proper footing. After gathering our thoughts it was decided we would need to add proper footings beneath the foundation. This would not be easy, but we were confident we could do it. After the footings were installed we could then add the drainage system.
